Round Top and the northern Catskills
Round Top is a hamlet in the town of Cairo, Greene County, on the eastern edge of the Catskill Park. It sits a little over two hours from New York City, between the Hudson River valley and the ski towns of Windham and Hunter. Mixed woodland, old resort country, and a year-round community alongside the weekend and seasonal one.
Year-round demand
Winter skiing, summer lakes and hiking, autumn colour. Visitors come in every season, and the local rental market is more than weekends.
Reachable
Close to the Thruway and the river towns of Catskill and Hudson, with Albany to the north. Easy to get to, easy to look after.
